Like 2012 Three Vineyard in size, but sleeker, this vintage is deeply colored, seriously structured with perfect balance, light silk nap tannin and a firmness and richness of sweetness, glove leather and bing cherries; although a bit closed in its youth, this brilliant wine exhibits cherry Danish, brioche, baking cocoa, meatiness, dusty plum, pomegranate, pipe tobacco, smokiness, minerality and spices; portends well for later 2014 releases.

92 POINTS, Wine Spectator

91 POINTS, Wine Advocate - Bright, crisp, tangy and appealing, showing transparency and vibrant raspberry and strawberry flavors, layered with hints of mint and thyme blossom. Finishes with vivid presence. Drink now through 2021. 430 cases made.

Although we had a cooler spell and a bit of rain in 2013, we got from this vintage the quintessential elegance we strive for each year, with a supple nose redolent of cherry, cranberry, strawberry, and pomegranate. We think this wine is a classic example of Oregon Pinot Noir, showing finesse and texture over size, with velour-like tannins, fresh, Asian spice, cedar, morels, hints of earth, high-toned, balanced very well, and structured in a lean, delicate, silky, light tannin framework that promises further development and long-aging.

91 POINTS, Wine Advocate
This Ian’s Reserve Chardonnay is bursting with aromas of lemon, shortbread, slate-mineral, and flan, and it draw us into a perfectly balanced wine where flavors of green apple, toffee, custard, and continuing mineral are packed tightly; expect the size on palate to bloom and for it to luxuriantly age.

91 POINTS, Wine Advocate

Richer than our standard showing of Corral Creek Pinot Noir, this wine is warming, spice-driven, and showcases beautiful oak to compliment bright red fruit.  Tobacco leaf, cinnamon, cola, Italian plum and pomegranate are in the foreground, with fruitcake, dusty ripe berry and dark chocolate supporting. This wine will flourish with 6-12 months in bottle, and round out subtle black tea tannins.

90 POINTS, Wine Advocate

An amazingly elegant showing from our version of Stoller Vineyards Pinot Noir in a rather warm vintage gives effluent blue fruits, black cherry, cardamom, and German chocolate cake.  Deep garnet in color and just beginning to open up on the palate, expect long dusty tanning, juicy berry pie, plum skin and fresh barkdust to integrate and elongate over many years to come.

Zang and Blue Razzberry! This is electric, violet-to-purple Gamay Noir, with a dusty character, doug fir, beets, herbs, red vines, maraschino cherry, huckleberry and even game meat nuances; great acid dominates, with metallic and herbal tension suspending this always wild and interesting wine.

All about brilliant pinks of rose petal, cotton candy, strawberry, muddled Bing cherries, and raspberry fruits, with a little weight, but no bitterness. This Rosé finishes lush and fruit-sweet, with notes of sage, watermelon, and copper. Fully chilled, you’ll love it all summer and with bigger dishes than you might think.

Grüner plays well with a warmer vintage, showing richness from warm growing days balancing out spice and herbal notes naturally in the grape. 2015 gave us great warmth, but this wine shows restraint and elegance. The nose shows green apple, talc, tarragon, and pollen, along with the characteristic traits of white pepper and ginger. On the palate we have luscious peach, matcha tea, and creaminess from neutral barrels, paired with lime peel, grapefruit, wet stone and bright salinity from the stainless steel portion. A lovely balance of strength and restraint.

Showing brightness in an otherwise rich year, the Gris is complex, moderately weighted on the palate, with clean aromatics reminiscent of morning dew, stone fruit and honeysuckle, red apple, and melon. The palate is textural and long, accented by brightness and mineral notes, juiciness, clove, nectarine, and a lingering smooth finish. This is the epitome of Oregon Pinot Gris at its finest.
